TERMS & CONDITIONS

LESSONS

Our lessons at the Meredith Brothers Tennis Academy are designed to teach students a wider skill set than just tennis. This includes time management, organization, goal setting and hard work to name a few. 

 

Our lessons run year-round so it is your responsibility to inform your coach if you are away during a holiday break. Otherwise, it is assumed that coaching will continue. 

 

Our lessons are designed to give members all the information they need to improve their game. All members are expected to practice regularly in their own time outside of lesson times to ensure we meet our goals. This includes gameplay, technical training and also fitness training. Progress will be measured throughout the year through our logbooks. 

 

Our highly skilled coaches will provide guidelines for personal practice and notes after every session, that all aim towards us reaching our term goals. 

EXPECTATIONS

We expect every academy member to:

• Always respect our coaching staff and the invaluable experience and knowledge they provide.

• Always respect the equipment and facilities we use. Including balls, training equipment club facilities and your own gear.

• Always respect other Academy members, on and off the court. 

• Always arrive at least 10min before a session starts to allow for an awesome session.

• Part of each lesson is to leave the court in the way you found it, this includes picking up all tennis balls before the end of your lesson.

• We expect you to be present, passionate, ready to learn and be empowered by every session.

CANCELLATIONS

Members are allowed to reschedule a lesson when 24 hours’ notice is provided. If no notice is given, the full lesson price will be be charged to your account.

If you are late to a lesson, our coaches are unable to push your lesson back due to other bookings.

In the event of rain stopping play, your lesson will be postponed to another time slot later in the same week. You will be notified by your coach, If you are not contacted by your coach, assume tennis is still going ahead.

In the unlikely event that a coach cannot attend a session, a substitute coach may be called in. If a substitute coach is unavailable, a make-up session will be provided at an alternative time.

PAYMENT

All online bookings are paid prior to your lesson time. If you are currently invoiced for your lessons, you will be invoiced by email every 5 lessons. Payment is due within seven days of receiving your invoice. Payments can be paid via direct deposit or paid in person on the day of the lesson.

 

Payments cannot be refunded once a student has commenced their enrolment, as per New Zealand Consumer Law.

GENERAL

Once you are accepted at the Meredith Brothers Tennis Academy, you are part of our community and must uphold the Meredith Brothers standards of being present, passionate, ready to learn and be empowered with every session. 

 

The Meredith Brothers Academy is New Zealand’s Premium Tennis Academy so expect the best.
