Oldest brother Matt is the Tennis Canterbury Regional Head Coach based at Wilding Park,  a position he has held for the past 8 years. Matt was responsible for restarting the Tennis Canterbury Player Development programme post-2011 earthquake. In 2020, Matt has been appointed to be on the Tennis NZ High-Performance advisory panel to help develop Tennis in New Zealand.

 

Matt is also in charge of all junior representative fixtures and is also the convenor of the selection panel. He is also the Director of Tennis at Cashmere Tennis Club, Head Coach of Christ Collage's College ‘A’ tennis team and until recently was a Tennis New Zealand junior selector and travelling coach. Matt was Tennis Canterbury Player of the year in 2011, Coach of the year in 2012 and High-Performance Coach of the year in 2014.
