The Meredith Brothers Tennis Academy started in 2001 with passion and love for the game of tennis. 19 years on, we are now one of the leading Tennis Academy's in New Zealand, helping some of New Zealand's best young talent prepare for their careers in tennis.

The Meredith Brothers have been prominent in the New Zealand Tennis scene for over 30 years and are known as legends in the world of NZ tennis. Brothers Matt, James and Tim Meredith have 75 years combined experience and have all competed at National and International Levels, paving the way for many of today's players.

MATTHEW MEREDITH

Matt is the Director of Coaching at the Meredith Brothers Tennis Academy. He has had over 20 years of tennis coaching experience and is currently the Tennis Canterbury Regional Head Coach. Matt is also on the Tennis New Zealand High-Performance panel in 2020.

JAMES MEREDITH

James is our Head Coach at the Meredith Brothers Tennis Academy. He is also our junior administration and has a very distinguished tennis career. Including winning the 12s, 14s, 16s and 18s Nationals singles titles and was ranked the 23rd best player in Division 1 Universities in the USA.

DAVE MEREDITH

Dave is a Senior Coach at the Meredith Brothers Academy, leading our Hot Shots programme. Dave is father to Matt, Tim and James and was the boy's first coach and ultimately responsible for the 3 boys tennis development along with wife Jocelyn.

HARRISON FANN

Harrison is a senior coach at the Meredith Brothers Tennis Academy. He has been a Tennis Coach since 2011 before leaving for University. Harrison leads our delivery of junior holiday camps and Friday Ladies Interclub. He also leads our online presence and branding.

TIM MEREDITH

Whilst not coaching full time anymore Tim Meredith is still very active at the Meredith Brothers Tennis Academy. Tim has been very successful in his tennis career, gaining a full tennis scholarship to Division 1 University of North Carolina Wilmington, as well as winning New Zealand National Titles.

MAX ALDRIDGE

Max is a new coaching member here at the Meredith Brothers. He currently competes among some of Canterbury's elite in the Division 1 Mens Tennis Grade for for Waimari Tennis Club. Max has 5 years coaching experience and has completed the Tennis NZ coaches assistants course. He is also starting the upcoming Junior development course qualification this season. In addition to being a great player and coach, Max is one of the nicest people you will meet.

NONT PRACHUABMOH

Nont is currently on a scholarship at Christ College and a member of their tennis A team. Nont is currently playing for the Cashmere's Divison 1 Men's team. In addition, he is also competing against the very best from around the world in junior ITF's to help improve his ranking to work towards a USA tennis scholarship.

NANT PRACHUABMOH

Nant is one of rising stars both as a player and a coach. He is currently on a scholarship at Christ College and a member of their tennis A team. Nant has already represented NZ at an International level in under 12's. He is currently competing against the very best from around the world in junior ITF's to help improve his ranking.
